Kilimanjaro is the fourth most topographically prominent peak on Earth. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895 m (19,341 ft).
The climb route will be via Lemosho, it is considered to be the most beautiful route on Kilimanjaro.

Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro
The Most Beautiful Route on Mount Kilimanjaro
Lemosho is a classic trail that has gained much popularity in recent years. And deservingly so: it offers amazing views, a great acclimatization profile, and some of the highest summit success rates among all routes. Lemosho route starting on the western slope of Kilimanjaro. One of Lemosho’s highlights is the Cathedral Peak - one of the highest points of the Shira Volcano (3872 m).
You’ll have a chance to go on an acclimatization hike to Cathedral Peak and enjoy the best views Kilimanjaro has to offer. Another iconic feature of Lemosho is the huge alien-looking plants, Dendrosenecio Kilimanjaro, that are only found on this mountain. Lemosho route is about 70km (42miles) long, from gate to gate.
Unlike the highly popular Machame route which simply brushes the Shira Plateau, Lemosho route goes across the entire plateau, from West to the East in a pleasant, relatively flat hike. The route takes more days to climb, so it offers great acclimatization opportunities.
