GX Founders

Our Founders are passionate on what they do. For them, this is their calling of life. They met over a period of years and found out the deep burning desire and after months of brainstorming they found GlobalXplorers. More than a dream; it’s a passion they want to share with the world; a transformation of a living embodiment of a founder’s dream.

Umesh Panicker

A dreamer, a man of multiple talents, speaker, backpacker, who over the past two and half decades has dedicated his life for backpacking, hiking all around the world, climbing mountains and spending a lot of time teaching and uplifting people around him. He is quite unpredictable when it comes to backpacking, spontaneous on his decisions, fearless in all domains, gives a smile saying “My life goes where the wind blows.” He has travelled to 79 countries and still counting. His experience and vast knowledge gained through his personal travel experience is interesting to listen when he narrates his story-line.

Lavish Chopra

A high-spirited personality, an adventure enthusiast, a traveler, speaker, and a coach. Anyone who meets him can’t stay untouched with his sheer positivity. The adventure bug bit him during his early life in South Africa. The thrill of adventure sports and exploring treks gets his adrenaline going. He has vast experience in developing and nurturing talent and has been involved in establishing various training facilities. He has guided and helped thousands of individuals to pursue their personal and professional goals. He had taken up travelling much early in life, and is passionate about exploring different communities, cultures, ethnic groups, and tribes.
